The Salty Classroom
In Genesis 1:26 God said, “Let us make them in our likeness.” Light is part of our spiritual DNA, for we are made in the likeness of God. Jesus is the Light of the World — so as we walk closely with Him, His light begins to shine through us.
Jesus said we are the salt of the earth. Salt preserves, purifies, and brings out what is good — but we must keep our flavor. We stay salty by praying, reading the Bible, loving others, and choosing righteousness.
God created us to reflect His glory, goodness, truth, and love. When we abide in Jesus — the True Vine — we bear good, lasting fruit. It begins with a seed of faith; as we tend it and abide, we reflect the light of Jesus.
